CONDITION:   Excellent

 

DAMAGE: Slight scratching & wear marks. Some shrinkage of handles

 

BLADE WEAR:   Very little. I think it still has the factory edge, though it has been lightly used

ADDITIONAL INFO:      Kingston was the name of the consortium formed between Ulster Knife Company and Imperial Knife during World War II. The brand name was registered to Ulster and had been used many years before as an economy brand. The Kingston Consortium was formed by Ulster and Imperial so that they could receive an increased allotment of steel and other materials to produce knives for the Department of Defense during World War II. The Kingston name was not used much after the 1950s, if at all so I would date this knife after World War II and before 1960. It’s a beautiful example and gorgeous colors.
