DAMAGE: There are obviously some nicks, dings, scratches etc. from years of use, but the biggest detractor in my opinion is the rounded off tang of the master blade. There is no snap opening or closing.

BLADE WEAR:   I don’t know how long this blade originally was but the tip is down far enough that when the master blade is closed and you open and close the spear blade, the tip of the spear blade will sometimes catch the tang of the punch when closing it.

SNAP:   Great snap for all blades except the master blade. Master blade has no snap in either direction.

ADDITIONAL INFO:     I have tried to list all of the issues with this knife above. If someone has a good master blade with an unworn tang or if someone wants to build up the tang with the take welder and then reshape it this would be an excellent knife. This is a great knife for a project or for someone who likes to collect tang stamps.
