SNAP:   Nice snap. Master is a bit weaker on opening but is still good. It is very snappy when closing. No blade wobble.

 ADDITIONAL INFO:      This is a nice old Ulster, pre-1941. In January 1941 Albert Baer purchased Ulster from the sons of Dwight Divine. At that time they change the tang stamp to Sans Serif lettering. All three blades of this knife or stamped, including the broken blade, and all have the Serif lettering, indicating they were made before Albert Baer purchased Ulster. This is a beautiful old knife that still has good snap and absolutely gorgeous Rogers bone handles. I could not find any cracks in the bone handles. The center brass liner is tapered so that the master blade receives spring tension from both back springs. This is a beautiful old knife and though the blades are down it still has plenty of life left in it no. If nothing else the handles alone are beautiful to look at. It’s a gorgeous example of Rogers bone! A great repair project or to a beautiful display piece as is.
