Manufactured at the historic Ellenville, New York factory prior to its closing in 2004, this classic serpentine folder features a primary clip point blade, a secondary sheepfoot blade, and a pen blade.

​This knife is in great vintage condition. It has been lightly handled but shows full blade profiles and clean factory steel lines throughout.

​Condition Report:

​Blades: Great condition. The "Schrade+" stainless steel blades retain their bright finish with only minor handling marks. The primary clip blade features a crisp, distinct factory-etched John Deere leaping deer box logo. The tang is cleanly stamped "SCHRADE+ / U.S.A. 897UH".

​Mechanism: Excellent walk and talk. All three blades open smoothly with distinct half-stops and snap shut with an authoritative factory snap. There is zero wobble or lateral play at the pivots.

​Handle: Beautiful Staglon (molded faux stag) handle scales with no cracks, shrinkage, or chips. The brass assembly pins and liners are bright, the nickel silver bolsters are clean, and the classic signature "Uncle Henry" shield is perfectly seated.
