Here is a very rare U.S.A. made vintage 1958 to 1963 Schrade Old Timer 5OT Bruin with 1095 Carbon Steel blade in original untorn box and papers.  Knife blade is full length, factory edge only, very good snap in opening and closing, bright, clean and unmarked and locks up tight when fully opened (no play).  The original box is a bit worn do to 63 or more years of handling and storage, but no tears.  Knife closed measures 3 3/4" in length. This is a big part of Schrade history, long before closing their doors in 2004 after 100 years of hand-crafted cutlery.  The Old Timer line is known for its comfort, practicality, reliability and ruggedness.  Also, generational as a gift to someone coming of age by a father or another family member, and in some cases, hand-me-downs.
