3 1/2" Rare SHAPLEIGH Congress Knife (St. Louis USA) Germany 1940-1950s,

Four blades, all tight with strong snap, very nice Tortoise shell Celluloid handles,

Nickel Silver Bolsters, Pins, and Shield ,Brass Liners,

No Wobble, & Plenty of Snap,  

Comes with "Certificate of Authenticity from James F. Parker" in Original Box:

"I certify that these Shapleigh knives came from the old factory stock of the closed Krusius Brothers factory. I estimate that these knives were made sometime in the late 1940’s and 1950’s. The name Shapleigh was discontinued on cutlery in 1960 according to John Goins book."

Nice Unused Condition, has not been carried or sharpened, Still has factory edge.
