Offered here is a vintage 2-blade serpentine jack knife made by Union Cutlery Co. of Olean, NY, more commonly known as KA-BAR. This classic American pocket knife features durable black plastic handles and measures 2 ⅝ inches closed.

• The main clip point blade measures 2 inches and is tang stamped: KA-BAR

• The smaller pen blade is 1 ⅜ inches and is tang stamped: UC. CO. OLEAN, N.Y.

Both blades show honest use with signs of sharpening and age-related patina. The pen blade still has some snap, while the clip blade has little to no snap and a bit of wobble when open. Still, both blades open and close without binding, and the knife is structurally intact.

This is a great little early-to-mid 20th century example from one of America’s best-known traditional knife makers. A solid addition for any vintage pocketknife or KA-BAR collector.
