VINTAGE 1920-1930'S KA-BAR STAG HUNTER W/ ORIGINAL SHEATH- VERY SCARCE
Here's a great old KA-BAR Stag hunter for ya folk's
Knife is 9 1/4" OAL with a 5 1/8" heavy blade with blood groove
Knife is stamped KA-BAR on the front, UNION CUTLERY CO. OLEAN NY. on the off side. According to Levines guide, this stamp came into use in 1923. The stamp is VERY heavy on both sides. I believe it was made in the late 20's to early 30's
Blade is FULL, and does not look to ever been sharpened. Has some staining spots, some very minor pitting, but is smooth when you run your finger down it
Stag scales are thick and well aged. Both sides have a pin crack but the Stag is still tight. Also on the off side the Stag is peeling a bit in a few spots
Great old rare straight blade KA-BAR Stag knife with original sheath makes a great addition to any knife collection
