Edwin Jay Hoffritz, 1895-1955 was a NYC knife importer who did business with Latama/Sam Polk and imported knives from Italy, Germany and Japan. This is a 1950's import from Germany, Hoffritz/Germany on the tang. Large, full tang and never used. Stag handles with black spacers. Full mint luster with tarnish spots. Curved aluminum pommel and large curved half guard. Original leather sheath.
