This is a unique and rare Schmachtenberg Bros pen knife.  The Schmachtenberg Brothers were producing knives in the late 1800's and early 1900's in Solingen, Germany.  

The handle appears to be celluloid, but a bit different than most celluloid knives I've seen from that era.  It could be an early iteration celluloid handle as manufacturers were tinkering with the material.  

The blades are in pretty good condition.  There's a tiny bit of wobble, but there is still a bit of snap left.  Overall, it's in surprisingly good shape for its age, but by no means perfect.  It would make a great collection show piece though!
