Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Miniature Keychain Switchblade Knife, Japan, Unused

Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Miniature Keychain Switchblade Knife, Japan, Unused

Rare Deerfoot Lever Lock Miniature Keychain Switchblade Knife, Japan, Unused.

This is an interesting mini lever lock opening automatic. I believe the lever lock variatons were only made in Japan. Many were sold as tourist items in Mexico. I've seen 3 style of lever locks, the deerfoot like this one and then two different types with square bodies and cactus shape bolsters. The deerfoot is much less common than the other two. I rarely see lever lock mini's for sale and I've never seen one of the deer foot handle variations available from any other dealer online.

It's an amazing knife and great addition to your collection! Please remember to check out my other items.

- The knife is unused. There's light scuffs and scratches on the knife. It has small spots of tarnish on the bottom bolster. I don't see any other condition issues. See the pictures as they represent the condition accurately.

- Functions great, fires strong and locks up well. The knife opens and unlocks to close by pulling the lever.

- Approximately 2.75 inch total length, approximately 1.125 inch blade.

- Knife only.

WANT LIST: I do my best to maintain an inventory of interesting and unique knives. I'm always looking for single pieces and collections. My current switchblade focus includes Miniature & Keychain, Vintage Imports from Europe (Spain, France, Italy, etc.) & Asia (Japan, Korea, Taiwan, etc.), RPK's, Bullfighters, older Microtechs & Daltons and some other American Switchblades. I also like interesting miniature knives and arms, 1980's Import Balisongs, Coutel, Digby's (Graham Clayton) and older Great Eastern Cutlery folders.

ABOUT: I've been into knives since I was a kid. I always seemed to have a small accumulation of them in my dresser drawer for example. I started carrying one regularly in 1991 when I was in the US Army stationed in Panama. My knife collecting days started around 2010 and in 2021 I decided to become a dealer.

I'm still a collector so I understand the fun and excitement of finding a new treasure. Because of that I always do my best to give accurate information about my knives and their condition. I take lots of pictures and offer video's for all the switchblades and some of the other knives I sell. I research sales prices and other available information and have a great network of dealers and collectors to draw from. All that said, I still make mistakes so please let me know if something I say is innacurate or misleading.
