Antique 1890s Finnish Ebony-Handled Puukko Knife by Fiskars Finland #8756
DESCRIPTION
An antique small-sized Finnish puukko knife 'Eebenpää' manufactured by Fiskars Ab cutlery company, approximately in the 1890s Finland. The engraved ebony handle is fitted with a nickelsilver lower mount. The unfullered carbon steel blade is marked by the manufacturer. The back-stitched leather sheaths is fitted with maker-marked nickelsilver mounts and comes with a metal belt hook. This is a rather rare version with the straight blade and sheath.
CONDITION
The knife is in good antique condition with minor signs of age and wear. The knife feels slightly short for the sheath but fits in it rather satisfactorily.
