Vintage 1930s Finnish Puukko Knife Ponsipää with Leather Sheath #8790
DESCRIPTION
A large-sized vintage Finnish puukko knife 'Ponsipää' made by an unknown manufacturer approximately in the 1930s Finland. The varnished birchwood handle is fitted with a brass lower mount. The unfullered long carbon steel blade has no markings. The side-stitched and riveted leather sheath is decorated with geometrical patterns.
CONDITION
The knife is in used vintage condition with signs of age and overall wear. The sheath is missing one side rivet and its leather belt strap and decorative leather tassels are broken. The knife and the sheath fit well together.
