Vintage 1940s Finnish WWII Trench Art Puukko Knife with Birchbark Sheath #8735
DESCRIPTION
A vintage Finnish WWII era trench art puukko knife manufactured in the Syväri front in 1942 Karelia. The masur birch handle is fitted with decorated brass mounts engraved 'Syväri 1942'. The unfullered carbon steel blade has no markings. The skillfully crafted birchbark sheath comes with a leather belt strap.
CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with minor signs of age and wear. The knife fits well in its sheath.
