Vintage 1930s Finnish Military Puukko Knife by Joel Wiinikka Kauhava #8792
DESCRIPTION
A vintage semi-military Finnish puukko knife manufactured by the master Joel Wiinikka, approximately in the 1930s Kauhava, Finland. The blue-and-white galalite handle is fitted with nickelsilver and brass mounts. The grip is engraved with the Finnish Lion and a text 'Muisto Vänrikki Palojärveltä' (Memory from the sub-lieutenant Palojärvi'. The fullered carbon steel blade is marked by the maker. The side-stitched leather sheath comes with a leather belt strap and matching-coloured decorative leather tassels.
CONDITION
The knife is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear. The knife and the sheath fit well together.
