Vintage 1940s Finnish Ponsipää Puukko Knife with Birchbark Handle #8751
DESCRIPTION
A vintage Finnish puukko knife 'Ponsipää' manufactured by an unknown maker approximately in the 1940s Finland. The handle made of birchwood and birchbark rings is fitted with a tin alloy lower mount. The unfullered carbon steel blade has no markings. The side-stitched leather sheath comes with a leather belt strap.
CONDITION
The knife is in used vintage condition with minor signs of age and wear. The blade has large areas of pitting. The knife and the sheath fit well together.
