There are not many avenues of knife collecting that can be appreciated on the same level as Custom Hand made knives. The time, effort & talent required to create a highly functional works of art from many different raw materials is nothing short of amazing.
A maker's creation must be both beautiful in form & excellent in performance from a metallurgy perspective as well as a mechanical perspective.
Designs are sculpted from a variety of metals along with softer medium like wood, bone, horn, antler & more all working together to form the art.
AAPK members generally have a variety of custom & customized knives for sale by extremely talented makers & customizers including Kaleb (Muskrat Man) Reynolds, Dale (orver) Vincent, Todd Davison, Tony Bose, & many others.
