Removes Crud From Tang Stamps

I keep one in my truck because of my frequent stops at pawnshops, flea markets, yard sales and other sources of old knives. This eraser works great to remove the dirt and rust from the tang stamp of an old knife so that you can read the tang stamp before you buy it. It allows me to see exactly what a knife is before I buy it, instead of guessing at what the tang stamp says. It saves me money by allowing me to see what a tang stamp says instead of guessing at what a dirty or rusty tang stamps says.

Removes Rust From Blades

The Super Eraser also works well to remove rust spots on the blade so you can get down to the steel and see if there is a deep pit or just a shallow rust spot in a blade. It can reveal damage to a blade that is hidden by rust and buildup on a knife.

Removes Oxidation from Delrin Handles

Recently I found that the Super Eraser works great to remove the oxidation from Delrin knife handles. It works better for this purpose than any other method I have found.

Cleans Ceramic Sticks & Sharpening Stones

The Super Eraser cleans metal buildup off of ceramic Crock Sticks and other ceramic sharpening tools. By cleaning the metal buildup from the ceramic it helps the ceramic to cut better and to sharpen more efficiently.

The Super Eraser is an invaluable tool for the collector, both in collecting and maintaining older knives. It saves me money by revealing what a knife’s markings really say before I purchase it.
