Colonial SHUR SNAP fishtail Candystripe switchblade
This is a 1950s Colonial Shur-Snap fishtail with Candystripe celluloid scales (handles). The knife was made in Providence, RI in the early 1950s and has brass liners. The Candystripe scales are not original, but are professional replacements that were very nicely done. The knife measures 4 inches closed and over 7.25 inches open. The blade is marked SHUR-SNAP over COLONIAL over PROV USA. The knife works well with the blade tip seating deep when closed, strong snap and tight lockup when open. Safety works fine. It is a little tricky to get closed, but sits really deep and tight when closed. Gorgeous knife! Contact me for other payment options including at least one online option.
