Henckels Stockman Gorgeous Stag Pattern 1815 Solingen Germany

From a recent 38 piece collection of various manufacturers purchased from a fellow AAPK member.  This is a Henckels stockman.  Probably made by Boker shortly after Henckels ceased production of pocket knives in 1975, this looks to be an early pattern or perhaps a late pattern made by Henckels, not sure.  The stag scales on this are a good example of how knives use to be made with almost all the dark bark being left on the scales right up to the bolsters.  This takes more time to cut the excess from the back of the scale instead of gluing on the scale and then hafting away material to make it flush with the bolsters.  The stag is chip and crack free.  The blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  Measures 3 5/8" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  Comes with the original box.  Free shipping within the USA.

We understand that a "knife" is not just a "knife" so we treat each knife with care and respect.  We ship only in boxes and never envelopes.  We package to protect your investment in transit so that it doesn't get scratched.
