D'Holder NAFC Limited Edition Straight Back Fillet Knife  (IMG_5772)

This is one beautifully crafted knife.  Has a razor sharp 440C high-carbon, high chromium steel fillet blade and guard and exquisite jigged red bone scales.  Etched with  "D'Holder" signature on tang. Includes lanyard hole in handle. Comes in original custom felt lined wooden presentation box.

The knife has that special feel of a fine custom. It's a tough concept to explain but one you never forget after handling a fine knife. the balance is outstanding and the knife offers fine blade control.

D'Alton Holder is reknowed as one of the most prominent knife makers in the world. His custom knives command high prices. He was a past president of the Knife Makers Guild and a member of the Knife Makers Hall Of Fame.  He began making knives in 1966 and joined the Knife Makers Guild in 1973 and became President in 1982, and was re-elected in 1996. D'Alton passed away in 2022. So the supply of his custom knives is now fixed. His knives are highly sought after by custom knife enthusiasts from all parts of the world.
