Folk's, I have a real odd Marble's Hunter / Skinner here for ya that till I aquired it, I never saw one before. It looks very much like the old 1929-1941 Marble's Outdoor Knife pattern. I have several knives from the Mike Stewart era of the 1990's, and I am bettin that this knife is 52/100 steel, coming in the Bobcat box and the sheath that came with it is typical style of that era.

It has a very odd charactistic also...The stamp is on the back side of the knife instead of on the front tang. And to keep the oddities rolling...the sheath does not have the Marble's stamp on it. The box is marked: Cocobolo Carver / Hunter. Cocobolo wood is the 2nd hardest wood on the planet. The shape of this handle is very, very user friendly & makes it very easy to control while using.

This is the Marble's Cocobolo Carver / Hunter

Knife is 8" OAL with a 4 1/8" blade

Handle is gorgeous Cocobolo, uniquely shaped

Blade is stamped with the Marble's Banner stamp on the off side tang

Comes in the old Bobcat box with a very nice quality leather holster type sheath. Check the pic of how the knife rides in sheath, ultra comfy carry

This knife would be a absolute dream in the hand while skinning & butchering big game animals with the control you have from the shape of the handle.
