Around the same time two brothers from Italy were getting started at Empire Knife as well. The three brothers became Colonial knife and the two brothers became Imperial Knife Company. Empire was training out some good master cutlers' Or were some good master cutlers' already. The quality of Colonial was equal to the quality of Imperial.

 I rate this one in excellent condition, patina is consistent with use and age.
