This magnificent vintage knife is a presentation grade Civil War Bowie Knife reproduction hand made personally by Tak Fukuta in Japan c.1985 with surgical steel blade, genuine mother of pearl scales, black liner spacers and beautiful engraved nickel silver G. Woodhead 1812 Horse Pommel. The knife blade is decorated with an eagle with ribbon in his beak printed on the ribbon is "Land of Freedom The Patriots Self Defender Protected by Her Brave Volunteers". The tang is stamped "Parker Cut. Co." over the Parker logo and "Hand Made" below. The opposite side of the tang is stamped "Stainless Steel Japan". The knife measures 14 9/16” long, the blade is 10 1/8” long 3/16” thick. It was presented in 1984 to recognize "1984 Blade Super Show Grand Prize" which is engraved on the mother of pearl scale. This would be the premiere addition to your collection!
