Parker & Son M-1467 Texas Sesquicentennial Lockback Folding Knife Japan

The photos accompanying this listing are the best statement of condition; please review them carefully before purchasing or making an offer.  Blade and bolsters have polishing scratches. One bolster has some green patina which I have chosen not to clean off.

This is a massive PARKER & SON knife model M-1467 lockback knife made in Japan in 1986. Weighs almost a full pound at 14.52 ounces. The knife measures 6 3/16" long closed. One of the Parker & Son Texas Sesquicentennial Series of 16 Knives with bark stag handles that came out in 1985 for the 1986 event. There were 1200 of each pattern made. This knife has beautiful SANDBAR STAG handles which are in great shape w/ no cracks or chips. The SANDBAR STAG scales look great and both handles match well. Bolsters and backspring are in good shape all clean and bright. Bolsters have some light handling scratches from being moved around and stored. Blade has never been used or sharpened. Blade is in good shape clean and bright. Blade has just a couple of light pepper spots. Blade has a great etch that reads "1836 TEXAS SESQUICENTENNIAL 1986" Parker eagle logo . Etch is in great shape w/ all of its color. Blade has great snap and locks well. Tang on blade reads PARKER & SON CHATTANOOGA, TN w/Parker logo. Back tang reads "M-1467 SURGICAL STEEL MADE IN JAPAN". Knife comes w/ original box which is in good shape w/ a couple of big creases. .
