Swanner Cut Co "River Dirk Ohio Valley" Spear Point Knife w/Stag Handle Japan

Never Carried/Used/Sharpened/Polished/Cleaned -- Please see photos for size and condition. Blade has a tinge of rust near front shank. Brass and stag show nice patina. Rear tang has scratches.

Rare vintage 1980's Swanner Cutlery Company, Ohio Valley River Dirk knife with genuine Indian stag handle and solid brass guard and pommel . Hidden tang design. The spear point blade is etched with "Ohio Valley River Dirk" in a waiving flag type pattern and stamped with "Swanner" over two large floating geese over Cut Co., over Fairfield Ohio on one side of the tang. No longer made as the Swanner Cutlery Company went out of business years ago.
