Parker Cut. Co. AK-808D Barry Woods Style Swing-Lock Folding Knife Japan -- RARE!!!

Very nice, rare, seldom seen Parker Cut. Co. Swing-Lock Folding Knife.  Made in Seki Japan in the 1980's, this knife features brushed finish 440 stainless steel drop-point blade stamped on the front tang with "PARKER CUT. CO."over Parker's eagle logo and "Japan" on the opposite side of the blade. The rotating handles are also brushed stainless steel with scrimshaw delrin inserts.

This is a Barry Woods style swing-lock folding knife. To open you go to the rear part of the handles & put both thumbs or fingers in the space provided, and gently pull the handles apart; then while holding the bottom half in one hand, you rotate the top half in a clock-wise manor, until the handle goes all the way around & snaps together to form a complete handle again. This will extend the blade in an open locked position. To shut the blade, just open the handles, go counter clock-wise, until the blade folds in & the handles lock together.
