Parker-Frost Star Deer Slayer Limited Edition Single Blade Folding Knife SN#0560

A rare Seto Cutlery (Seki Japan) produced Locking Clasp named the Star Deer Slayer. This knife was produced about 1979-1980 and features the nickel silver finely engraved bolsters and nickel silver pinned Staminawood scales. It measures 5 1/4" closed. 

This knife is still new in the original 2 piece factory box as well as the outer box which is every bit as rare as the knife itself.  The knife was made as an exclusive for Parker Frost and contracted through a company that was in Knoxville, TN called Star Sales.  This company had knives manufactured and imported from Japan and built on the highest quality Japan had to offer during this period.  Seto Cutlery in Seki Japan produced this knife.

The knife has remained in the box for 44-45 years. The Clip blade is tang stamped with Parker Frost and an eagle on the front tang while the rear is stamped Star Hand Crafted.  The rear of the blade is also etched reading A Limited Edition Of 1000 Especially For Parker-Frost.  The front bolster is deep stamped with serial number 0560.
