Napanoch Knife Co. 1905-1907 Antique 5 Piece Tool Kit

A vintage six-piece tool set in case made by the Napanoch Knife Company between 1905-1907 in Napanoch, New York. The knife has been used & sharpened. It has patina and carbon spotting on the blade.  The blade has snap and no blade wobble. It is approximately 3 7/8” long closed. The main spear blade is stamped NAPANOCH in an arch over KNIFE CO over NAPANOCH N.Y. on the front and PAT APPLIED FOR on the rear. All the other blades are also stamped PAT APPLIED FOR. Patent was not obtained until January of 1907. The knife has nickel silver bolsters and liners. The scales of this old knife are secured by brass handle pins and made of either hardwood or brown bone (these sets were made with both). The scales are in good condition without cracks. This tool kit has five accessory blades: one saw blade, one chisel blade, one flat head screwdriver, one bastard file blade and one leather punch blade. The accessory tools all have carbon spotting. All blades lock tightly into the bone handle. Comes with the original leather pouch. The pouch is in good condition for being over 115 years old and the snaps work as they should.
