Parker & Son M-1431 12-Blade Folding Knife w/Mother of Pearl Inlaid Handles Japan -- RARE!!!

Very rare 1980's Parker & Son TWELVE-BLADE folding knife.  Has model number M-1431 stamped on tang of one of the blades but is actually M-1431E; this should not be confused with the Parker 6-blade canoe model M-1431 that can be found frequently on the internet. This is a rare model Exhibition double canoe knife that has 12 different satin-finished stainless steel blades. It measures 4" long closed, by 2 1/2" wide by 3/8" thick. Blades range from 1 3/4" to 2 1/2" long. Has massive nickel silver bolsters and pins and handles inlaid with mother of pearl and nickel silver spacers. Master blade is etched with an eagle holding a ribbon in its beak that reads "1836 Texas Sesquicentennial 1986". Tang is stamped with "Parker & Son" over the Parker logo.Back tang of master blade is stamped "M-1431 Surgical Steel Made In Japan".Comes in red velvet protective bag.
