Parker-IMAI K-139 Lockback Folding Knife w/Fat Second Cut Stag Scales Japan

This is a vintage 1982 folding knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai in 1982-1984 for Parker. Stainless steel clip point blade etched with an eage. Tang is stamped "Parker-IMAI" over the Parker logo with "Surgical Steel" under. Back tang is stamped "K-139 Made in Japan". Comes in box (may not be the original one for this model). Seizo Imai was one Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art.
