This is a prototype for the Parker IMAI K236, Double Lockback hunting/pocket knife with camo scales. Stout, sturdy and heavy knife! Comes with camo fabric sheath. This is a vintage Japanese crafted pocket knife made in Seki, Japan by Seizo Imai for Parker Bothers, circa 1978-1982. Seizo Imai was one of Seki, Japan's finest craftsmen and most famous knifemakers of the modern era. His collaboration with Parker spanned nearly two decades. He made knives for Parker, Frost, Browning, Explorer, Compass, Condor, and many others, including his own brands Imax and Seizo Imai. His custom Loveless style knives are works of art. He has passed now so his knives are even more collectable.
