American Blade Display Case w/12 of 14 Folding Knives Japan

This is a rare vintage retail display case for American Blades Knives. American Blade Knives were produced by Jim Parker's Parker Cutlery Company for approximately 1 year in the early eighties. Parker came out with this line to place in department and hardware stores intending to differentiate it from his regular line. These knives feature stainless steel blades with American Blade tang stamps and an eagle logo on the master blades. They have nickel silver bolsters and brass liners. Most have Appaloosa colored bone scales with brass or nickel silver pins. One knife has mother of pearl scales and another has gnarly stag scales. They were all manufactured in Seki Japan.  

The case has 12 of the 14 knives. It is missing only the AB-15 and AB-31 models.  American Blade is known for their quality knives, and this 12 knife set is no exception. 

AB-1 Lockback 2 1/2" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

AB-2 Lockback 3 1/2" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone -- Has chipped bone scale.

AB-5 Lockback 4 1/2" -- Stag

AB-11 Lockback 2 1/8" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

AB-12 Two-Blade Pen Knife 2 3/4" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone 

AB-16 Lockback 3" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone -- Has spotting on bolsters.

AB-18 Two-Blade Trapper 2 1/2" -- Mother of Pearl

AB-19 Three-Blade Stockman 3 1/4" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

AB-21 Two-Blade Trapper 3 1/2" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

AB-24 Two-Blade Muskrat 3 7/8' -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone -- Has some corrosion on blade.

AB-26 Two-Blade Trapper 4 1/8" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

AB-30 Three-Blade Stockman 3 7/8" -- Smooth Appaloosa Cow Bone

The display case is vinyl covered wood with locking plexiglass door (with key) and blue velor covered molded tray.  It has a carry handle and hardware for hanging on a wall. it measures 16 1/4" wide, 13 3/4" high and 4 1/2" deep.
