Parker Duxbak Limited Edition Drop Point Hunting Knife w/Scrimshaw Ivory Micarta Handle SN#70/500
Never Carried/Used/Sharpened/Polished/Cleaned -- Please see photos for size and condition.
Very rare vintage mid to late 70s Duxbak Hunting Knife w/Sheath. It was made for Duxbak as a limited set of 500 by James Parker, Peter Cross, A. Dan Valois. One side of ivory micarta handle is decorated with the Duxbak trademark emblem. The other side of the handle has a Schrimshaw of an AB Frost Snipe Hunting scene carved by James Parker and signed "JP". Blade is full Tang and is made of D-2 high carbon tool steel hardened to 58-59 C. One side of tang is stamped "PARKER" and the reverse is stamped "176" NO. 70". The sheath is beautifully made and is embossed on the front with the Duxbak trademark and on the back with "Parker Custom Knives Ilion ,N.Y.13357".
