This is a Marbles by Dave Shirley.  When Marbles discontinued finishing and fitting the slip joint knives that they were assembling in Gladstone Michigan, they sent production of these back to the Queen custom shop which was overseen by Dave Shirley.  This small doctor's knives was made there in 2002.  The handles are mastodon ivory with a dark green color from the bark of portion of the ivory.  The back handle has a big vertical divot which looks like it was done at the time the handles were assembled since the pin sits at the correct level and the edges look to have been smoothed off, see photos.  The carbon steel blades have not been used or resharpened and retain their factory edges.  Measures 3 1/8" closed OAL.  Good snap and no wobble or play.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.
