I don't know much about Valor knives. They are not well known by collectors, but held in high regard by those who have come across them. They are well made Japanese knives that were sold at affordable prices up until the 1990's. They are considered to be on par with other US imported knife brands such as Gutmann or Sabre.

This knife is an interesting folding variation of the highly sought after "knuckleduster" trench knives used in both world wars. Obviously this one would not be as durable as the original design, as there is an opening in the knuckles to allow the blade to fold shut. The etch on the 3 1/4" stainless steel blade reads, "Assassin" and is still in perfect condition. It has a lockback mechanism, brass pins and dark colored scales which are some sort of dark plastic. The knife comes in its original box and it does not appear to have ever been carried, used or sharpened. About 5" closed and 8.5" open overall.
