Frontier knife, Elk Tyne, thick 52100 steel, includes handmade custom sheath
Something different and enjoy. I had the Elk Tyne for years and always wanted to use it for the right knife, finally I did. I like 52100 ball bearing steel (as Ed McCafferty), hardened to 61 RHC, stain finish, micro bevel at the edge for easy honing and less sharpening for continuous use. This 4mm thick blade is double beveled at spine and below, 3 1/4" long, set into the guard with pinline solder sealed permanently. The overall length is 8" and fits in hand like a glove.
The sheath is oil rubbed vegetable tanned leather custom fit with a wooden last inside. The knife fits snug and a distinctive "pop" is heard when inserted. Dangler makes it easy to carry. Like no other knife, a keeper or trade up if you like. Fair price also.
Ask me questions, will ship USPS small rate of padded envelope in the connected states or USPS 1st class off shore or international.
