ADDITIONAL INFO:     This is a restored and customized Western L44-6. It originally had a stacked leather handle, but the handle had been removed before I bought the knife. I retained the original spacers and added grey giraffe bone handles and mosaic pins. There are some dings in the blade which I left because I do not like to grind a lot of metal off a blade as it can lose the original profile of the blade and remove the history of the blade. I made a new hand stitched sheath of 6 oz vegetable tanned leather.
