Rare Vintage LCO Mini Swing-Guard Stiletto
You are looking at a Rare Vintage "LCO" (Lac Courte Oreilles) Italian-Style Swing-Guard Stiletto Pocket Knife, Made in U.S.A., Circa 1970s. FEATURES INCLUDE: Polished Fine-Edge Stainless-Steel Clip-Point Blade with Nail Groove and Nickel-Silver Folding Swing-type Folding Guards, and a Handle with Bovine Bone Scales, Nickel-Silver Bolsters & Pins, Brass Liners and a Stainless Slipjoint Back-Spring to tension the blade. No tang stamps, the blade has "LCO" within an oval circle laser-etched on the back side. SPECS INCLUDE: Overall Length is 4-5/8" with a 2" blade and weighs about 1/2 oz. This Knife may have been lightly-handled but shows little use and appears to be in VERY-GOOD, CLEAN CONDITION overall. The blade is full with original factory edge and just a few fine surface scratches, it's tight with great snap and opens without any wobble, and closes into the handle's liners without peaking. The handle's genuine Bovine (Cow) Bone Scales look handsome with streaks of copper & green, with only one tiny crack at the back side center pin; the backspring is straight with no liner gaps or visible patina. Comes only as shown, no factory packaging or paperwork. Hand made by Native American Craftsmen of the Las Courte Orielles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Tribe sometime in the late-1970s.
