1960s Italian Button Open/Close

Features synthetic scales with a 3.75" Satin Finished Spear Point Blade with Copper Bolster and Stainless Liners. Activated via leaf spring. Button Open/Button Close design. 440 Stainless edge.  Very similar to the Lever Action models of Maniago, they have a traditional sliding safety and originate from the Scarperia region of Italy, which have their own unique design and look.  Superb action and lockup. Usually handled in wood or stag, synthetic versions of this knife are uncommon.  According to "Switchblades of Italy" this is "...an automatic version of the Fiorentino-styled knives with roots in Scarperia, but is similar to the Zouava pattern with its bolsters and liners."
