This is a Used and Sharpened Vintage Imperial Model No JM-941-AC Jack-master “SPORTSMASTER” Outdoor 2-Blade Blade Folding Pocket Knife with a Set of Pale Yellow Simulated Pearl Celluloid Scales. The knife has a 4” long carbon steel clip point main blade with a long nail pull. Both faces have scratches from use and some scattered light staining. Stamped on the front tang is Imperial with the Imperial crown logo over the ria (over) PROV., USA. This indicates the knife was made between c.1946-1956. It also has a carbon steel combo secondary blade with a common nail pull. It consists of a fish scaler on the leading edge, a cap-lifter on the bottom of the blade and a hook remover on the tip of the blade. Both blades still retain most of their original factory finish. Both blades have excellent snap on open and hard and loud “klack” snap on close. The knife has an excellent set of pale yellow simulated Pearl celluloid. They are in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips. This one was an advertising knife. It is still printed in black on the front scale with NATIONAL ALLOY STEEL COMPANY (over) 4531 St. Clair Avenue (over) Cleveland and then the remainder is worn off. The knife has rounded single flute “Nuloy” bolsters and clasp style Single Flute “Nuloy” end caps. All are free of any dents, dings or visible scratches. The knife has two (2) steel back springs that are free of any cracks or breaks. They still perform the functions they were designed to perform.
