This is a Cattaraugus Cutlery Mediterranean Barlow.  A.G. Russell had these made for his KCC, or Knife Collectors Club back in 1993.  Made in Seki Japan by some of Japan's finest craftsmen, this knife has a very unique blade locking system.  The entire front side handle slides to release the blade lock.  You can see this in the pictures where the blade is half open, how the handle is slid above the other half.  The handles are chip and crack free brown jigged bone.  The stainless steel blade has not been used or resharpened.  The bolsters, pins and liners are nickel silver.  Mirror polish on the backspring, bolsters and blade really make this look sharp.  Measures 3 3/8" closed OAL.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.  Free shipping within the USA.
