From a fellow AAPK members custom knife collection comes this Joe Knipstein custom knife.  Joe has been making knives since 1986 and this one is a beauty.  The knife is substantial in hand and has some heft to it.  The dense tight grained desert ironwood handles are finished very nicely and are chip and crack free.  The blade, which I believe is a high quality stainless steel, has not been used or resharpened and retains its original edge.  Full tapered tang construction made with thick blade stock that has been masterfully ground and finished.  This knife is a big knife with a blade that measures just under 4" with an overall length of 8 3/4".  The knife is thick and wide.  The bolster and pins look to be made of stainless steel.  Comes with the original custom made sheath.  Free shipping within the USA.
