This is a Mint Condition CAMCO (Camillus) 2-Blade Swell End Jack Folding Pocket Knife with an Unused and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Long Spear Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull, an Unused and Unsharpened Carbon Steel Pen Secondary Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Set of Gorgeous Multi-Colored Red, Pink, Cream, White, Yellow, Brown and Black Candy Celluloid Scales with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, Three (3) Brass Handle Pins in Each Scale, Polished Nickel Silver Tip Bolsters and End Caps, Steel Liners, Two (2) Steel Back Springs with No Cracks or Breaks, 3 1/8” in Length, Made by the Camillus Cutlery Company in Camillus, New York as a Less Expensive Second Line of Knives and Made Between 1948-1980’s.

I rarely buy a Camco knife but these scales were so colorful and unique and the knife being in mint condition that I had to just buy it. This is a CAMCO 2-blade swell end jack folding pocket knife. Camco was a second line of less expensive knives made by Camillus starting in 1948. The knife has an unused and unsharpened carbon steel long spear point main blade with a common nail pull. The blade still has its original factory mirror polish and it’s original factory edge. Stamped on the front tang is CAMCO (in an arch)(over ) USA. The knife has a unused and unsharpened carbon steel pen secondary blade with a common nail pull. It also still has its original factory mirror polish and it’s original factory edge. Both blades still have excellent, hard and loud open and close snap and very distinct hard half-stops. The scales on this knife are a gorgeous set of multi-colored red, pink, cream, white, yellow, black and brown candy celluloid. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips and the colors are all still nice and bright. There are three (3) polished brass handle pins in each scale. The knife has nickel silver rounded tip bolsters and end caps. The liners are brightly polished brass.  The knife has two (2) steel back springs. Both are absent of any cracks or breaks and both continue to perform the functions they were designed to perform. This knife will display well in any celluloid collection.
