This is a Vintage CONTINENTAL CUTLERY CO NY 1-Blade English Jack Folding Pocket Knife with a 3 13/16” Long Carbon Steel Narrow Clip Point Main Blade with a Common Nail Pull, a Beautiful Set of Light Brown Worm Grooved Jigged Bovine Bone Scales with a Pocket Carried Glossy Look and in Perfect Condition with No Cracks, Splits or Missing Chips, a Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Crest Shaped Shield on the Front Scale, Three (3) Nickel Silver Handle Pins in Each Scale, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Squared and Elongated Bolsters, Brightly Polished Nickel Silver Rounded End Caps, Brightly Polished Brass Blade Liners, a Single Heavy Duty Steel Back Spring with No Cracks or Breaks, 5” in Length, Made by the Continental Cutlery Co. Located in New York and Only Made for 5 Years Between c.1915-1920.

This is a really nice old Vintage American made Continental Cutlery Co. 1-blade 5” Long English Jack Folding Pocket Knife. It has a used and sharpened 3 13/16” long carbon steel clip point blade with a common nail pull. It’s not been professionally cleaned but I did clean off any dirt, grime or environmentals. It has a ton of scratches from use and sharpening but only a few very scattered very light pits. Polished up very bright. Stamped on the front tang is CONTINENTAL (in a full arch)(over) CUTLERY CO with NY above that and inside the arch. The blade has an excellent hard and loud snap on both open and close and an excellent hard snap on the half-stop. The knife has a great set of light to medium brown worm grooved jigged bovine bone scales. They have a bit of that nice glossy look from being pocket carried. They’re in perfect condition with no cracks, splits or missing chips or slivers. There’s a brightly polished nickel silver crest shaped shield on the front scale. It has three (3) nickel silver handle pins in each scale. The knife has a brightly polished set of nickel silver squared and elongated bolsters and brightly polished nickel silver rounded end caps. The knife has brightly polished brass liners. The knife has a single heavy duty steel back spring and it’s free of any cracks or breaks. It continues to perform the functions it was designed to perform. This beautiful vintage Continental Cutlery Co. 1-Blade English Jack Knife Pocket Knife is 5” in length and its a handful for any user. Additional photos or information on request.
