This is a knife by Mervin Masters of northern Kentucky.  According to the posts on this forum:https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/knife_forum/viewtopic.php?t=51865,  Mervin Masters was a good ole boy from northern Kentucky.  He wore bib overalls and would sell his knife creations out of his bibs at knife shows.  This knife is probably a good example of his workmanship.  The blade is made from a file that he ground and filed down to make into one very sharp blade, I know I cut myself on this knife and didn't know it.  The blade has file marks on it and it has been polished but you can still see some of the marks.  The handles are brown jigged bone and are chip and crack free.  The bolsters are nickel silver with lines and his name stamped into the bolsters.  The blade does have some wobble, which is common on Mervin's knives.  You can see a bit of a gap on the "run up", where the blade and backspring meet, which would account for the wobble.  The wobble doesn't effect the functioning of this knife.  The knife has good snap.  Measures 5" closed OAL.  No box, but I will include a zippered storage pouch.  Free shipping within the USA.
