This little teardrop jack has been around way longer than I have.  Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings has this information:   "Commander c. 1891-1928  A trademark used by M. Klaas" .  I think that might qualify it as a "vintage" knife.  This knife is in used condition showing significant blade loss from sharpening, particularly on the main spear blade.  Still, it has a lot of life left if you wish to carry and use it.  The blades open and close properly with good snap both ways.  When open, the main blade does have just a bit of side to side wobble, but not enough to impair function in any way. The jigged compositre handles are crack free and show little, if any shrinkage.  This would be a great addition to any vintage knife collection as it bears a very rare tang stamp you won't likely encounter again any time soon.
