This little knife is a bit of a mystery.  Goin's Encyclopedia Of Cutlery Markings list the Salem tang stamp but offers absolutely no information about it.  I'll just tell you what I know.  This knife measures 3 1/4 inches closed length.  The handles are dark brown jigged bone.  There is a rat tail bolster on one end.  The main clip blade is swedged and both blades have half stops, and open and close with excellent snap and no blade play.  Bolster and shield are nickel silver.  Pins and liners are brass and blades are carbon steel.  Fit and finish on this knife is well above average.  Blades appear full or very near full.  If you are a collector of rare tang stamps here's one you won't want to miss.
