C46 Bob Lum 3.8" Folding Tanto Blade Second

Bob Lum was the first American custom knifemaker to introduce the Asian tanto-style blade to the United States. It features a "hamaguri" or appleseed grind at the tip for added strength. The flat-topped hump above the hole provides a comfortable positioning spot for your thumb for controlled cutting. It has a linerlock nested in its G-10 scales with an eccentric pivot pin and an offset arc ramp that adjusts itself as the liner wears. Blade is hollow ground. Lined lanyard hole. Black blade coating. Blade is 3.8" in length.

Very comfortable handle. Strong Knife.

This knife is a second and the coating was polished off right behind the thumb hole on the spine. You can see that the grind at the tip of the knife is a little off on one side.

Discontinued in 2004.

I bought this at a seconds sale at Spyderco years ago.

This would make a great cop knife or self-defense knife.
