Made by Carl Schleiper this knife has one of Schleiper's rare tang stamps, the "fan" stamp. Picture 3 shows the tang stamp and Picture 4 is a photo from "Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings". The carbon steel blades have not been re-sharpened or used but have some pepper spots as do the back springs. These pepper spots could be cleaned up with the right hands. Excellent condition, walks and (snap) talks. A good looking well made vintage knife. The quality compares to German Eye, Olbertz, Bulldog, Fighting Rooster, and Jim Bowie knives made in the Olbertz factory in Solingen. Look at the pictures, this is the knife for sale.
